Google Chrome Cache location change

Follow these steps to change google chrome cache location
  • Close Google Chrome.
  • Create a new directory at your desired location where you want the cache to go
  • Navigate to the location where google chrome is installed usually C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome
  • Now move the User Data directory to D:\Temp\Chrome Cache
  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type
  • Code: Select all

    mklink /J "C:\Users\{[i]username[/i]}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data" "D:\Temp\Chrome\User Data"
Change {username} to the current user name of your windows pc
