You should try "VLC media player - Video player and streamer" straight in Linux or installed in a Widows install.

Re: change password without knowing current password?

Sure. But regardless, I don't think I am wrong if I say that 100% of the dictionary based attacks will try that word on an early stage. Nebie with RSYNC

Okay... I have been using a laptop and a desktop. My laptop was setup first with Linux Mint and then my desktop a few months later also with Linux Mint. When I setup my desktop, I copied over my Documents folder from my laptop. I have since used my laptop way more than my desktop and also for differ...

Re: A required DVD drive device driver is missing.

The restore drivers must be built into my backup/restore CD, I have Todo 4.0 Workstation as my backup app. I can backup or restore with my CD (USB 2 or 3), it's not one of those Linux CD's, it looks like Windows 7 loading at first (Win PE is what I believe it's called), there's no really getting the...

Keeping my pc clean?

Alright so I just did a clean install of Windows 7 and want to keep my PC clean. (I am very obsessive about keeping my laptop as clean as possible). As seen in the title I use programs such as CCleaner, Remove Empty Directories (it is a program), and Gallery Utilities to achieve this...I also keep a...

Re: internet working in ubuntu but not windows 7

Without any specifics as to your System Specs, Manufacturer Name = Dell, Manufacturer Model Name, Model Number and other identifying characteristics or the Wireless Card you are using Mfg. Name, Mfg Model, Mfg. Number, etc., it is difficult to add anything of value to your problem. I can say that in...

I have a computer that I had to reinstall the operating system on because it was so full of viruses and adaware that that was my only recourse.
